Yo! I'm Alex Pint, a graphic designer from Elmira, New York. I believe in the power of design to shape and reshape the world around us, and I'm passionate about being part of that change.
Ideation, education, and creation are the foundation of my practice. I develop thoughtful, strategically informed design work that bridges client goals with cultural context. Whether crafting brand identities, designing commemorative hip-hop posters, or building digital experiences, my approach centers on purposeful design that resonates and delivers impact. Beyond producing sharp, effective creative, I’m dedicated to creating platforms for others to grow. I run an online design museum that amplifies emerging talent, publish self-initiated design books through Doorstop Design Studio, and design lesson plans that share experimental typographic processes with the next generation.
I earned my degree from Montserrat College of Art, and studied under Dafi Kuhne in Switzerland, where I honed a blend of analog and digital methods that continues to shape my work. Professionally, I’ve collaborated with a wide range of clients — from global brands like Virgin Records, Apple Music, and Wu-Tang Clan to underground hip-hop artists and independent record labels. My experience includes building a B2B platform that boosted sales at Get On Down Records, creating brand identities like the widely adopted Evergreen Ithaca, and designing apparel worn across local communities. I’ve curated gallery shows, designed promotional materials that grew attendance and engagement, and collaborated with designers internationally on print and poster projects.
My work has been featured by Bandcamp, exhibited in independent gallery spaces, and worn and shared across music and design communities. Throughout it all, my focus remains clear: make meaningful work and create opportunities for others to do the same.
